September Feature Artists:

David Childers
web site
Singer-songwriter and Ramseur Recording Artist David Childers is the proverbial study in contradictions. A resident of Mount Holly, North Carolina, he’s a former high-school football player with the aw-shucks demeanor of a good ol’ Southern boy. But he’s also a well-read poet and painter who cites Chaucer and Kerouac as influences, fell in love with folk as a teen, listens to jazz and opera, and fed his family by practicing law before turning in his license to concentrate on his creative passions.

David Childers is the kind of treasure who can spread joy wherever people love listening to great songs. In other words, just about anywhere. Or everywhere.

Casey Noel
web site
Casey Noel is a singer/songwriter hailing from the NC Triad area. Currently a senior at UNCG, she has been playing guitar since the age of five.

Casey brings a blend of folk, country, blues, and pop to her unique rasp and powerful sound, drawing influence from a large swath of artists ranging from Creedence Clearwater Revival to Adele. She possesses a pure vocal quality that is both distinct and mesmerizing.

Rob McHale
web site
Host Rob McHale is a North Carolina-based Folk-Americana artist whose songs can take you through a small town, down a dirt road or on an historical journey – and bring you back home again. Rob’s flair for penning historical and social commentary songs has received recognition and awards from American Songwriter Magazine, Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, Dallas Songwriters Association, and Billboard.
